in the foyer at Carriageworks, there’ll be more than 100 television sets showing 750 of the best video clips from the rage archives translating to almost 50 hours of footage that will be broadcast simultaneously across the screens. There’s headphones so you can listen to clips from Australian and global music history as well as some of the program’s famous music hosts like Nick Cave, Blondie, Radiohead, Kylie Minogue, Silverchair, Malcolm McLaren and many more.
This installation’s going to celebrate this extraordinary time in music and the advancement of video production over the past 25 years of rage – the longest running Australian TV program.
Check out 25 years of rage – part of Sydney music and arts history – it’s on from Wednesday 6th June to Sunday 17th June at Carriageworks 245 Wilson St Eveleigh.
