The place – styled like a 1950′s Australian front room with a big nod to the English royal family (quite quirky really, but perfect ) with spot on service and a wide menu – a chance to try dishes you’ve never eaten before – influenced by Latin America and South East Asia. Our lunch was quinoa noodle salad, humble pie and rice paper rolls – most of the food is gluten free and some dishes are also wheat free. The salad has multiple flavours with fine glass noodles and slivers of crisp vegetables smothered in a finely flavoured peanut sauce. The pies we’ve eaten many times – are filled with finely cut tofu and vegetables, topped with dash of onion marmalade and chunky tomato sauce.
Nourishing Quarter in Redfern is open for lunch and dinner – another part of Sydney dining- this is somewhere to go for fresh, honest tastes, but above all – goodness and nourishment. LOVE IT
